Join us in celebrating the world premiere of Ohio Now: State of Nature at Contemporary Arts Center! “Ohio Now: State of Nature brings together artists across Ohio who focus on sustainability, agriculture, food justice, and natural ecologies. Through diverse materials and perspectives, these artists reflect on humanity’s relationship with the environment. Spanning painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, installation, and community-based practice, the works in this exhibition highlight the urgency of environmental issues while inviting dialogue and response.”

SATURDAY, MAY 10, in Cleveland at Ingenuity’s annual Bal fundraiser
“The Ingenuity Bal: Rust Belt Renaissance will celebrate the beginning of Ingenuity’s 2025 season of programming with an evening of rebirth and revitalization featuring the Tesla Orchestra, flame effects, metal arts, music and dancing, hands-on demonstrations from IngenuityLabs Incubator members, hors d’oeuvres, craft cocktails and more!
Ingenuity’s annual Bal fundraiser is an affordable and slightly off-kilter gala unlike anything else in town! Once known as the Bal Ingenieux, the yearly spring event now boasts a different theme with each incarnation, featuring the region’s artists, makers, and creatives while paying homage to Cleveland’s exclusive arts club that dominated modernist arts in the city from the 1910s until the 1940s. The Kokoon Club’s annual “Bal Masque” challenged artistic norms with the most unconventional parties around.
