Uno Lady is Christa Ebert, a one-woman ghost choir from Cleveland, Ohio. Uno Lady composes songs using only her voice, effect pedals, and a DIY podium desk. Sanguineous means optimistic, and was written, recorded, and filmed by Christa Ebert.
This song was written during She Shreds Magazine‘s #1riffaday challenge that took place in December. Artists were asked to create everyday and share what they wrote on Instagram. You can see/listen to all the entries on Uno Lady’s Instagram @TheUnoLady
I wrote this song while walking my dog, Flip, after a blizzard. The sloshing sounds are field recordings of that walk, my feet, his dog paws, crunching through the ice crust that covered the ground. The beat birthed the song. Enjoy!
The first pressing of Amateur Hour has sold out! I’m pretty exited about selling out of a self-released and self-distributed record. Although it means I’ll have less merch to offer at shows, it feels like I completed a chapter.
That being said, I have 200 record covers living in my attic and the master stampers if anyone else is interested in putting out a second limited pressing 🙂
