I am pleased to announced Uno Lady has partnered with Earthquaker Devices and is a featured artist. Their pedals have become a key component in my performances. They are also locally made in Akron, Ohio, by great people, and have a lifetime warranty.

“Cleveland’s Christa Ebert is a one-woman choir. As Uno Lady, she’s dazzled, confounded, and delighted audiences since 2007 with loop-based compositions for voice, found sounds, and effects pedals. Her avant-garde pop tunes combine doo-wop harmonies and ethereal soundscapes with layered and processed vocals, which range from a smoky tenor to operatic outbursts of melody…” (full article here)- Earthquaker Devices

Check out Dangerous Mind‘s coverage of the video here!

At last, I can share with you my creation! Lauren, Teresa and I have worked very hard on this video and I am proud to present “Bikini Weeding” for your viewing enjoyment.  Special thanks to the Rodemann’s for their guest appearance in the video.

Nothing brings me more joy than digging in the dirt, connecting to nature, and watching tiny seeds transform into healthy food. Thanks for watching! Don’t forget to subscribe!

    About the video

Filmed in Uno Lady’s backyard “Bikini Weeding” features time lapses of growing plants, villainous weeds, and the artist herself, hard at work growing her own food. “Bikini Weeding” was directed and co-produced by Uno Lady with Lauren Voss and Teresa Crockett of Sugarbowl Creative.

You can buy the album at the Uno Lady shop or online at CD Baby.

“Wed 7/13 @ 6-9PM The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum has dramatically upped the number of performances it’s presenting this summer, and its traditional free Summer in the City series, taking place outdoors on its plaza, is focusing mainly on the wealth of talent in our own backyard.

Uno Lady aka Christa Ebert, who won a CPAC Creative Workforce Fellowship for her unusual music, which is created entirely by layering her voice with a sequencer to create dreamy, melodic tunes that are hard to resist. She’ll share the bill with indie rock quartet Goldmines whose moody sound is driven with an intense, if subliminal, energy.- Cool Cleveland

  • Songs from the City Earth, Vol. I

I was invited to collaborate with a stranger and we made a pretty sweet song for a compilation. The One and Only Matt Miller, from Pennsylvania, and I wrote “Hysterical Laughter” for Songs from the City Earth, Vol. I., released by Fringe Sound Records.

“Fringe Sound Records’ second release, while not strictly an experiment in cross-genre collaboration, is largely an album whose ten songs involve a number of artists who may never have come together to make music had they not been challenged to do so.”

You can Pre-order of Songs from the City Earth, Vol. I. You get 10 tracks now (streaming via the free Bandcamp app and also available as a high-quality download in MP3, FLAC …), plus the complete album the moment it’s released.
