The first pressing of Amateur Hour has sold out! I’m pretty exited about selling out of a self-released and self-distributed record. Although it means I’ll have less merch to offer at shows, it feels like I completed a chapter.
That being said, I have 200 record covers living in my attic and the master stampers if anyone else is interested in putting out a second limited pressing 🙂
Bows was written, recorded, and filmed by Uno Lady (Christa Ebert). Song created with vocals through pedals and inspired by the Earthquaker Devices pedal, Bows, rhymes about tying shoes, and remedies for forgetfulness.
Other pedals used in the song are Disaster Transport SR, Afterneath, all compiled on a Boss RC-30 loop pedal.
Ten years ago today was the first Uno Lady show.
It was Coffinberry, Sun God, and Uno Lady at Pat’s in the Flats for the annual Thanksgiving Day bash. I was lucky enough to play with my two favorite Cleveland bands at the time. These photos are by the talented Lou Muenz.
Look at these Coffinbabies!
Here is “Orange Floats,” and “I only got 2 Days,” songs I would have performed that night. You can download them for free.
My face hurts from smiling. I love the Panza Foundation and am honored to be a recipient of their generosity. They provide something truly unique and very much needed in the Cleveland music community. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland’s non-profit Panza Foundation will give cash grants in 2018 to four local musical projects: Hip-hop duo FreshProduce., sludge metal act Pillars, avant-garde pop vocalist Uno Lady and indie rockers The Village Bicycle…
In addition to playing dozens of shows this past year, experimental “one woman choir” Uno Lady became an Earthquaker Devices artist, and now incorporates many of Akron-made pedals into her creations. She was also part of Dark Songs, a week-long collaborative songwriting festival at the Holiday Music Motel in Sturgeon Bay, WI which ends with a two day show at their local performance art theater, Third Avenue Playhouse. This coming year, Uno Lady plans to write and record a new album with the support of the Panza Foundation.”
